Our three holiday cottages offer the very best luxury accommodation for discerning holidaymakers.

The holiday cottages sleep up to five people and include all the comforts of home and more, including modern kitchens with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven etc and comfortably furnished lounge with TV, DVD, video, radio etc. All three have two beautiful en suite bedrooms, furnished to the highest standard. For that real country cottage feel, all our properties have wood-burning stoves too. All offer ample parking.

We are delighted to announce for 2008 the arrival of two new holiday cottages. Both have underfloor heating, are set on one level and can sleep up to five people. They have French doors opening out onto their own secluded patio areas for barbecues and relaxing in the countryside. Both have flat-screen TVs and they share a super new laundry facility.

To help you settle in to your cottage we provide visitors staying a week or more with a complimentary welcome pack which includes fresh flowers, locally-bottled Blue Keld water and a hamper of local produce including fesh bread, locally sourced eggs, bacon and sausages. This service commences from April 2008

Humble Bee Cottage is a converted granary building and retains many of its historic features whilst offering fabulous facilities. These include: central heating, a tastefully decorated open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, oak beamed fireplace and wood-burning stove, luxury master bedroom and twin room, both en suite, a private patio for barbecues and two parking spaces.

Merry Dale Cottage

Merry Dale Cottage is another new addition to the Humble Bee Farm experience. Like Swallow’s Nest, it is a converted stable and a beautiful picture window overlooking the dale and the duck pond adds to the character and charm and all the luxury facilities of our other cottages.

Be among the first to experience Swallows Nest Cottage. As well as boasting all the luxurious features of Humble Bee Cottage, this converted stable will also have a thatched gazebo and hot tub when it opens in May 2008! As the name suggests, the outside walls of this cosy cottage have, for many years, been a favourite nesting place for visiting swallows. This cottage provides fabulous all-year-round cottage accommodation and lends itself perfectly to romantic weekend breaks.
