Hello,

I just wanted to say "thanks" for our lovely stay with you last weekend (23rd - 26th Nov). Even though it was rather chilly outside we were still very snug inside the wigwams. We thought your site was lovely and a perfect place for a get-together with friends. The location was ideal and the facilities were excellent, especially the gas barbecues and the lovely hot showers! We hope to see you again sometime.

Hello Julia and Percy,

Just to say a big and warm-hearted thank you for our wonderful camping holiday. Your farm is absolutely beautiful and the dale was a perfect place for us to spend some much-needed time in nature. The rolling fields and wild flowers which surrounded us made us feel we were in a little camping haven!

We will book for camping next year for sure and also would like to stay in the wigwams sometime later on.

Dear Humble Bee Farm,

I am writing to you to say thank you for our lovely stay at your campsite (22-25 August).

The campsite was lovely and quiet and our five-year-old daughter loved it (the ducks and hens were her favourite).

The shower rooms and toilets were the cleanest I have ever seen. The pitches were a lovely big size and you could park your car next to your tent.

We were in the dale as you call it, which was lovely as our daughter loved being able to run around with a football with her dad near the tent.

We are planning to come back at Easter with friends, if not before, and have been telling everyone how nice it is.

I write following our visit last week (9th-13th October) to Humble Bee Cottage. The conversion/cottage is a credit to you both and is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable time “on the farm”, a very peaceful and relaxing place especially welcoming when you live in the city. I also appreciated the flower!

Our grandson, Hayden was thrilled and delighted when John took him for a ride to the top field on his tractor to see the animals – that was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. (please see photo enclosed.)

We all wish you well in your venture and with the conversion of the next cottage and will certainly be recommending you to family and friends!

I felt I must email you to say how Angela and myself enjoyed our stay with you both last week and it has been very difficult for us to get back to normal life after the relaxing time we spent with you and would have liked to stay longer and look forward to seeing you again in the future.

The cottage is never far from our thoughts and we talk about it daily and remember the walks we did with the dogs down to the bottom fields to admire the views of the poppies in the fields and the complete tranquillity of the farm until it was broken by our little monsters.

Anyway thank you once again and I am spreading the word around and hope to get you further bookings.

First ever visit to Yorkshire and we all had a great time.

Toilets / showers were always nice and clean … The pitches for the tents were all numbered and even with our large tent there was still plenty of room to park our car next to it.

The whole area on the farm was always clean and tidy.

Was always quiet at night and very relaxing after a day out sight seeing.

Small shop to get anything you needed i.e. milk, eggs, drinks and any info of the area.
Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Bridlington, Pickering are all less than 30 miles away which makes this an ideal base.

Thanks again for a lovely time at your farm and when we are up Yorkshire again will definitely return.

The children loved collecting eggs in the morning - warm, freshly laid eggs were a first for us!

My boys loved the free-range chickens, ducks and dogs! We enjoyed visiting Scarborough, especially the Sea Life centre and we LOVED Cayton Bay beach.

This was an easy, unintimidating camp site, the owners were friendly and accessible. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good base for a simple camping holiday.

Having visited your site for the 2nd time this year I would just like to say a huge thank you for our stay,

Yet again we had one of the best weekends ever on your farm, and have done nothing
but praise and recommend your site to anyone and everyone we know.

I would also like to thank you for the pitch that you gave us (2 and 3) – it really was ideal!
