High Season

July, August, all half terms, Christmas, Easter, Bank Holiday Weekends - minimum stays apply:

Typical prices: a family of 4, Friday and Saturday night: £128

Special weekly family rate of just £395! (Excluding Bank Holidays) throughout July and August only. Please ask us for more information.

2 night minimum stay, £21 per adult per night, £11 per child per night.

July and August: minimum nightly charge per wigwam is £32 per night, excluding

Bank Holidays.

Bank Holidays: 3 nights minimum stay for a family of 4 to 5 – £192

All Bank Holidays (May Day, Spring Bank, August, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday) require a minimum 3 night stay, minimum nightly charge per Wigwam is £64.

New Year: 2 night minimum stay, £25 per adult per night and £12 per child per night, per wigwam.

PETS: 1 pet per Wigwam @ £3.50 per night.

Special events weekends:

Spring Bank Holiday Weekend: £25 per adult per night, £12 per child per night, 3 night min. stay.

Cowboys and Indians Weekend

(7th and 8th October 2011): £25 per adult per night, £12 per child per night. 2 night min. stay.

Halloween Weekend

(28th and 29th October 2011): £25 per adult per night, £12 per child per night. 2 night min. stay.

New Year: 2 night min. break, £25 per adult, £12 per child.

Mid Season

March, April, May, June, September, October, November, December, January, February (excluding Bank Holiday weekends, Christmas, New Year, Easter, July, August, all school holidays and half terms):

Friday and Saturday nights, 2 night minimum stay - £21 per adult per night, £11 per child per night. Minimum nightly charge per wigwam, if one person staying, £32 (Friday and Saturday nights).

PETS: 1 pet per Wigwam @ £3.50 per night

Midweek Special Rate, Sunday to Thursday inclusive – for 2 people staying 2 nights @ £55 (excluding: all Bank Holidays, half terms, school holidays, weekends).Children from 2yrs to 16 yrs charged at an extra £6 per child per night

Low Season

November, December, January and February (excluding Christmas, New Year, Bank Holidays and half terms):

2 night minimum stay - £18 per adult per night, £9 per child per night, applying to children aged 2yrs to 16 years

Terms for caravans, camping and wigwams

Terms for wigwams

All guests must observe the following conditions in order to keep the friendly and relaxed atmosphere in this peaceful, rural haven.

We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied adults aged 21 or under.

  1. Pets: Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads at all times. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pets . Acceptable breeds only.
  2. Campfires: No campfires permitted, apart from the fire pits that can be purchased from reception.
  3. Noise: Please consider other guests and keep radios, televisions, CDs, barking dogs to a minimum, especially after 10pm.
  4. BBQs: Raised BBQs only allowed, if kept away from trees. Do not encroach onto adjacent pitches. No BBQs to be positioned directly on the grass.
  5. Driving: The speed limit is 5mph around the park.
  6. Waste & Rubbish: Wipes, sanitary waste, nappies, cloths etc must not be flushed down the toilets. Bins provided.These items must be wrapped and put in the bin provided. Emptying of the chemical toilets at the Elson point. Emptying of waste into designated drain. Refuse area situated near the reception. Please do not drop litter.
  7. Children must be accompanied when using the toilet block facilities. Please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing.
  8. Farm safety: Please ensure your children do not use the farm buildings as play areas, and do not play on any farm machinery.
  9. The farm pond: Please ensure your children are accompanied when passing the pond, and if feeding the ducks. Please do not allow your children to play around this area.
  10. Emergency telephone numbers: A list of emergency numbers is available in the shower/toilet block and for emergencies a telephone is available in reception.
  11. Farm Dogs / Pets: Please note, three Jack Russells are resident at the farm. These dogs are working animals, they are friendly but please ensure children are supervised if stroking the dogs. If you are brining your own dog, he/she must be kept on a lead, and owners must clear up after their pet. There is a charge of £3.50 per dog per night if staying in a wigwam.
  12. The owners of the park are absolved of all liability for accidents to caravans, tents, and guests and from any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
  13. The owners of the park reserve the rights to ask guests not observing the conditions to leave the park.
  14. Final payment: This must be settled on your arrival. You will be issued with your pitch number and a copy of the campsite information. PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR 2 NIGHT STAYS, FULL BALANCE IN PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
    For group bookings, 50% deposit required to secure your wigwam/pitch, then remaining balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. If booking less than 6 weeks in advance, then full balance is payable.
  15. Cancellations: We do not give refunds on any bookings made at Humble Bee Wigwams. However, should more than 48 hours notice be given we will offer an alternative date suitable to you should we have availability.
    In the event of a cancellation by us, our liability shall be limited to the return in full the monies paid.
    In the event of a cancellation, a £5 administration fee will be charged.
    Please note any damages to site facilities or any wigwam left in an unsatisfactory state will incur extra charges.
  16. Wigwams: Strictly no smoking
  17. Recycling: Please make use of the recycling facilities provided. The Biffa unit is adjacent to Pitch 3.
  18. If children feed hens / ducks or come into contact with other farm animals, please ensure they wash their hands.
  19. No transit vans allowed on site without prior notice.
  20. Wigwams – arrivals from 1pm on first day, to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
  21. Caravan and tent pitches to be vacated by 11am on day of departure.

Children's Play Park

Our play park is provided for children to enjoy, open from 8am, closing at 9pm. If any inconsiderate noise is made, the play area will be closed immediately. Humble Bee Farm does not allow the following in the play area: Ball games, bikes, stone throwing, bad language, water bombs or water pistols.

It is expected that all visitors have read and understood these terms and conditions.

What is provided in the Wigwams

Each heated wooden Wigwam has its own mattresses, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge and barbecue for the true outdoor experience. Just bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, torches, toiletries, plates, tea towels etc. Call in at the farm shop for your barbecue essentials and set up camp!
